Liguria is a unique land, with a blue sea in front and a green sea that embraces it: it is the richness of the Ligurian nature, woods, paths, mountains, plants and animals protected by a regional system that counts 10 natural parks.
To recount these riches, Regione Liguria launches the initiative “Parchi, il mare verde della Liguria” , a communication campaign dedicated to the 10 Ligurian parks for which social spots have been created.
“How many of us know that Liguria is one of the greenest regions in Italy? Or that more than a tenth of its territory is protected by a natural park? “, said the President of the Liguria Region Giovanni Toti. “Ours is a wonderful land that can boast a beautiful sea, but also has an unspoiled nature protected by 10 natural parks. Walking in the woods, maybe looking for traces of the wolf, doing rafting, tasting delicacies such as truffles or wine from the Cinque Terre, are all things that only Liguria can offer “.
“It is a campaign born from listening to the territory”, underlined the regional councilor for parks, Stefano Mai, “The same protagonists of the spots have been chosen by the Parks, a precise strategy to promote what the single Institution aim for autumn season, leaving the Region the role of coordinating and homogenizing the countryside. Liguria believes in its parks and today proves it once more “.
